Braintree training courses

Customised workplace training delivered in Braintree

Vital Workplace Training

Vital Workplace Training is an organisation that started with the simple goal of making workplace training both fun and effective. We deliver a range of training courses in Braintree that cover all aspects of workplace safety, from workplace skills to safeguarding.

While we deliver over fifty courses, there are topics that we specialise in due to demand and current regulations. First aid has always been a priority to us and something that we believe everyone should know, especially in the workplace. Whether you work in an office or on a construction site, accidents can happen. Knowing that your colleagues can adequately respond in an emergency situation makes the workplace safer for everyone.

About us

The Vital Workplace team is experienced, skilled and highly motivated. We have always been passionate about workplace safety, and our goal is to share as much knowledge as we can. There is a certain stigma attached to group training sessions that we hope to dispel. We design each and every training session to match the exact needs of our clients. Then we bring them to life by making them interactive and engaging.

At the end of each session, we hope that you’ll have learned something new and had fun in the process. By travelling to our clients as part of our service, we do everything we can to remove any stress and worries you may have. At a time where workplaces have been affected so heavily, we hope to make them safe and inviting once more.

Our COVID-19 support hub explains how we have responded to the pandemic and how we can help you.

Braintree

We deliver our workplace training courses in Braintree and other nearby towns. While we are based in Coggeshall, we don’t limit ourselves to one particular area. We travel across Essex, providing training sessions all over the county for trainees who work in all kinds of industries. Expertise and an extensive list of training courses mean that we can adapt to different sectors and working environments. What always remains the same is our focus on providing engaging and high-quality training sessions.

While COVID-19 has affected our work, it hasn’t stopped us entirely. We’ve now adapted our course material so that we can deliver our training courses online. You’ll get the same informative and enjoyable training sessions as before, but in a COVID-secure way. Once the lockdown has ended and socially-distanced training sessions are permitted, contact us. We’d be delighted to meet you in person and provide you with any additional training you require.

How we can help you

We provide a huge range of training sessions, meaning that whichever industry you’re in, we can help you. We draw together the combined experience of our team and our vast database of course material. We’re able to create customised training sessions tailored to your needs. So, if you’re worried that your sector might be too niche, don’t be.

Take a look at some of our most popular training courses below.

First aid courses

First aid training will always be essential, regardless of the working environment. Accidents can even happen in low-risk workplaces, so you’ve got to be prepared for worst-case scenarios. We comply with the relevant Health and Safety regulations when we plan our training sessions to make sure we address every hazard sufficiently.

As well as workplace first aid training, we also teach first aid training for those who work with or around children. Attending to injured children can be challenging, as they can quickly panic and become flustered when hurt. Their bodies are also different from adults, so they require specialist treatment. We cover everything you need to know about paediatric first aid in our training courses.

We have written a detailed guide to first aid which includes information about providing first aid in different situations and for all age ranges.

Fire safety

When it comes to something as important as fire safety, we believe that a hands-on approach is the best approach. Engaging training encourages attendees to get involved, come out of their shells and learn as much as possible.

Depending on the training you need, we can start off with the basics or we can plan a more advanced course for you. We also have courses designed to teach you how to use specific pieces of fire safety equipment, such as Evacuation Chairs and Fire Extinguishers.

Infection control

Since the coronavirus outbreak, infection control should be a priority for every workplace, particularly those in the hospitality and catering industries. Putting measures into place that prevent the spread of disease will be mandatory, and employees will have to feel safe before returning to work.

We provide infection control training in all kinds of workplaces, from schools to care homes. Regardless of where you work, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to arrange your infection control training.

Give us a call

If you’re looking for first aid training in Braintree or you’d like to discuss a more specific training session, feel free to give us a call. We’ll always be on hand to answer your questions and explain our training sessions in more detail. We can make adaptations to suit your needs and make sure that your training sessions don’t cover topics that you’ve already learned before.

A few FAQs about our workplace training courses

Yes, we have a course covering the basics of COVID-19 and how you can train your staff to understand every step they can take to help slow the spread. As well as this, we would recommend you take a look at our COVID-19 support hub to provide you with further information and advice.
Nope. Vital Workplace Training has designed all our training courses to allow people to explore the realism of the training with none of the risk. This allows you to work through a practical process without the fear of performance anxiety. Sweet, huh?
In light of the pandemic, infection control has become more important than ever. As well as simple practices such as regular hand washing and covering of the face in shops and public transport, there are other practices covered in infection control training which can help reduce the spread of infection.
We have years of experience teaching large numbers of people at once. However, if the group is too large then we may need to split it into to separate sessions to make sure everyone receives the same high quality of training.
