A range of workplace training courses delivered in Ipswich

About us

Vital Workplace Training is a provider of over fifty workplace training courses in Ipswich. While we are based in Essex, we aren’t don’t limit ourselves to working in particular areas. We don’t mind travelling, in fact, it’s something we’re happy to do as part of our service. By coming to you, we make the whole process easier.

You won’t have to worry about transporting your staff. Your employees will receive their training sessions in an environment that they’re comfortable in. This means they can fully focus on their training session and taking as much away from it as possible.

Coronavirus restrictions have temporarily prevented us from travelling and delivering sessions in person. We have made sure we can still provide training for workplaces. We have adapted our course content so it can be delivered virtually. Take a look at our COVID-19 support hub to see which other measures we have taken during this difficult time.

Customised training sessions

What makes us different from our competitors is that we place emphasis on providing customised training sessions. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to courses, because different people work in different environments. There’s no point teaching the same content to one group of trainees who work in an office and another group who work on a construction site. Their day-to-day activities are entirely different, so the training material should reflect that.

Here at Vital Workplace Training, our team draws its experience together to design informative and engaging training sessions. We’ll work around any requests you have. We make sure that we don’t cover topics you and your staff already know or won’t need. This way, every part of your training session will be relevant.

Our values

Our mission is to deliver workplace training for everyone who needs it. While doing this, we ensure we remain client-focused and provide high-quality courses at competitive prices. We don’t like the idea of training sessions being a chore. It’s a topic that we’re passionate about. We’ve done everything we can to make workplace training an enjoyable experience.

Where we work

We work across Essex and Suffolk, delivering workplace training sessions in Ipswich and other nearby towns. Recent Coronavirus restrictions have ruled out travelling and physical training sessions. So, we’ve taken our courses online. Now, we can teach essential workplace skills like first aid training to companies in Ipswich without actually being there.

Once restrictions are lifted, we’ll be happy to travel to you and deliver training sessions. This is something we do for many of our clients at no additional fee. You’ll probably have enough on your plate when normal working patterns resume again. This means we’ll take away the stress of transporting your staff.

Some of our training courses

If you’re based in Ipswich and looking to retrain your employees, take a look at our more popular training courses below. We have always had particular expertise in first aid training in the workplace, as this is the first course that we started teaching.

Food safety

The Food Safety Act 2006 requires all employees to be aware of their role in the food preparation process. Like many other industries, hospitality and catering have been heavily impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.

In order to continue delivering food throughout the pandemic, many food businesses have had to expand into takeaway and delivery. This prompted updated guidelines to be released which address food safety for food delivery and cover topics such as food hygiene to prevent the spread of disease.

We teach our food safety training sessions in Ipswich in accordance with the relevant regulations. We’ll be ready to help restaurants, cafes, caterers and independent business owners guarantee their food safety in a post-COVID environment.

Paediatric first aid

Paediatric first aid is a specialist subject we cover and can work with childminders, nurseries and schools to ensure they are up to date on their training. Providing first aid for children is not the same as adults. Their bodies are not fully developed and they can sometimes lack the ability to accurately describe the type of pain they are experiencing. This means taking a different approach when attending to children and having the ability to calmly de-escalate situations.

We cover all of this in our courses, and we’ve also explained it further in our ultimate guide to first aid. If you’re based in Ipswich and you work with children, feel free to contact us to book your paediatric first aid training.

Health and safety

Health and safety training is essential for every workplace. Our health and safety training course can be taught to groups to make sure that you have a sufficient number of individuals who are adequately trained in health and safety. This way, if one member of your team is sick or on holiday, you’ll know that there are others who know how to act in case of an emergency.

Whether you need to go over some health and safety basics, or you work in a dangerous environment and need to refresh your team on how to control hazardous substances, we can help.

We’ll all be facing new challenges, with the pandemic changing the way we go about our daily activities.
