What you will learn on this course
Our diet and nutrition can play a key part in staying healthy, with so many options for food and drink it can be a hard task maintaining a balance. More vulnerable people in the community and those in care require help to achieve this, so the Skills For Care team added this to the Care Certificate.

Person-centred care and supporting people
Calories, different types of energy and how the body uses them
Bodyweight and how nutrition affects it
Nutrition and hydration for the more vulnerable people
