All mandatory and essential information for compliance is brought to you in a 4 hour live training session, also available online or as part of the care certificate induction

A certificate, accredited and compliant to all learning outcomes needed to demonstrate compliance can be provided for this training. This course is currently not regulated

What you will learn on this course

The Office of the Public Guardian, the UK’s source for safeguarding policy, has strict guidelines and protocols for us to follow when providing evidence about protecting vulnerable people. Our training course aims at delivering safeguarding designed to transition straight into any child care setting

After training, you will:

Know the laws that apply to safeguard for children and key people involved
Identify those most at risk of abuse and the specific types aimed at children
Know the different categories of abuse and how they affect vulnerable children
Highlight reporting processes and introduce measures to prevent harm
