What you will learn on this course
The learning outcomes required by Health and Safety at Work etc Act. 1974, the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the latest Resuscitation Council UK 2015 guidelines are in this first aid at the work training course. Additional content can be added for sector specific training.
The outline of this course is:
- Understand and treat conditions such as cardiac arrest, unconscious person, choking person
- Deal with severe bleeding and shock
- Recognise broken bones, burns and seizures
- Fix minor injuries like cuts, bruises, nosebleeds, splinters and more
- Study the vital observations of the unwell person
- Practice different scenarios in emergencies
